....Through a Glass Darkly

"For now we see through a glass darly; but then face to face; Now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." I Corinthians 13:12 King James Version of the Bible

Let's pretend that you are a being a pure Light Energy concealed in a physical body of flesh and bone. (It's really true, but we're just pretending right now) You are not only connected to the Light Source, you are one with the Light Source, but you don't know this in your human finite brain. You believe you are just flesh and bone, blood and brains. For the most part you don't think about what Power is beating your heart of breathing your lungs. You just think it "happens". You are seeing yourself and life "through a glass darkly", just like the view the young boy is seeing in the photo above.

You don't remember, but when you first born and for a short while before you got programmed, you experienced your connection to Source. Your esssence was pure innocence. You felt one with everything, including your parents, not really knowing where you ended and they began.

Gradually you were conditioned and taught that you really weren't connected. You were just a body separate from others and from God, or Source. Essentially, mud covered the windows of your soul, and you were told that the mud was the real you! Thus starts our life long search to fill the void, find the missing Love, find our way home.

But you know the phrase, "I don't do windows!"...Well...Energy Aware /Cosmic Sand Box "DOES" windows! Once the mud starts being cleaned off your soul "eyes" you will begin to SEE as Source sees, because you are That. What you are looking for you are looking with. This Life Force Energy expresses or manifests in our experience as unconditional Love. But it is so buried under all the mud of conditioning and false teachings that you don't see it or believe it.

Showing up to play in the Cosmic Sand Box you will become AWARE of this reality behind all the stories you've been told. You'll see the fearful little man exposed behind the curtain in Oz. You'll SEE, as Dorothy did, that you can always go home anytime you want, because, in truth you never left!

This Energy Source is called many things by many different cultures and religions. Some ancient cultures knew they were always connected and that it was the Life Force Energy that sustained everything in the Universe. They called it "Chi" or "Qi" in Eastern cultures and "Great Spirit" in Native American Cultures.

Over time some leaders that wanted control over the masses made up stories to limit mans' understanding of the Life Force Energy. They created a god in man's image.

Waking up to the truth that God is not male or female, or created in man's image is the first key to peace and freedom. All the sacred scriptures tell us this, but men have perverted the scriptures. It is as simple as that.

Keep this in mind, because it is at the heart of the whole entire life story. Everything you have been taught for the most part has been geared towards removing your inner awareness of your Awesomeness, Divinity, Wholeness, etc. You're taught you aren't one with Source or God, that you are separate, and that you're not pure and innocent. You're taught you were born bad (aka sinfull). Enter the false god FEAR. Now you can spend your life in fear of rejection by gods and loved ones. As long as you live in this state of fear you are controllable.

There is no motivation on the part of our religious or secular leaders to promote or teach you the Truth because they would lose most of their control through fear. Leaders can lead either through inspiration or fear. Most choose fear because it is easier and because they aren't inspired! We live in such a time now.

Admittedly it can be challenging to question our old beliefs and fears. However, if you are willing to set aside your "adult mind" and turn back the clock to your "pre-school mind", you will get a glimpse of Heaven, the place of magic and miracles, joy and harmony. It is easier to face our fears from a place of make believe.

In our Cosmic Sand Box we will be revisting some Bible stories, fairy tales and myths to understand the underlying meaning of the symbols and pictures they portray. There is no fear in any of them. They are all instructions on how to find your way home to your Self. They teach you how to "wash the windows of your soul" so you can SEE...not "through a glass darkly. but with clarity and delight!! You will be awakening to your innocence and wholeness ( Prince and Princesshood).

No one can stand to be jarred awake. That is why I choose to invite you to gently step back in time to that magical pre-school age before your mind understood and defined fear. You were trusting and happy. You weren't worried about the future or sad about the past. You were in the NOW.

I invite you to close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and drop down and breathe into your heart. Picture yourself as that little girl or boy in a happy situation playing with others or by yourself. Sit with that picture and your feelings for a minute or so. If you still feel a little fearful, stay in your heart a little longer until you just feel peace and joy reliving that experience as a child.

What you have just done is establish a benchmark for yourself that you can always use to let you know when your fearful adult mind has taken over control of your emotions (energy in motion). You will be feeling fear, dread, guilt or shame. Simply calm your little "monkey"mind down. Ask it to go rest over in the corner of the room for awhile.  Assure it you will be back and will listen to its concerns later. Then go back to that place in your heart mind of calm, safety and joy.

Eventually you will find that you are experiencing your innocence, peace and joy more often than the old fears. You are waking up and becoming AWARE of who you truly ARE....a "Pearl of great price".  Matthew 13:45

You are in your essence the perfect pearl of great value to the whole universe.  You now can see YOU face to face and not through a foggy or muddy glass.  You are experiencing that you are more than skin and bones and brain.  You are Spirit. 

      Breathing into your heart is another tool for your Cosmic Sand Box. Going to that place in your heart where you feel joy and peace and love connects you instantly to the "Pearl" of you.  And you know why the pearl is the symbol of pricelessness, don't you?  It is born out of strife and conflict in the oyster.  The bigger the strife (grain of sand) the bigger the pearl.  Your heart acts like the oyster turning the suffering into something beautiful that everyone wants to possess and enjoy.
